The exhibition Seventy Great Masters from the Pérez Simón Collection features many of the most valuable works in this outstanding collection, currently considered one of the most important private collections in the world. A carefully chosen selection of works from the Pérez Simón Collection will be on display, most of which have never been seen in Madrid before. The exhibition is divided into three sections based on three different periods: Old Masters and Early Moderns, The 19th Century, and From the Avant-Garde to Contemporary Art.
Born in Asturias, businessman and art collector Juan Antonio Pérez Simón emigrated to Mexico with his parents when he was a child. His collection includes more than 4,000 paintings, sculptures, drawings, objets d’art and manuscripts.
